The Challenge
The healthcare industry struggles to use internal tools effectively for smooth operations. Communicating with healthcare providers and managing patients' complete health records becomes complicated. Jonathan (CEO) aims to tackle these issues by developing an enterprise product via Zus Health.
Process
We followed the Design sprint methodology to create an MVP to validate the solution with the potential customers before investing multiple resources.
Expert Interviews
We have conducted interviews with CEO Jonathan Bush, Evan Wittry Head of Engineering at Firefly, and a few others. To get deeper understanding about healthcare, its workflows, and its problems.
Problems
After expert interviews, we understood that providing health care takes a vast amount of time and effort. It can be due to
Core Value Proposition
Also, it has allowed us to identify three major opportunities that can be our core value proposition.
Personas
As part of the research plan, we have conducted an expert interview with CEO Jonathan Bush, Evan Wittry Head of Engineering at Firefly, etc to gain a deeper understanding of the pain points, features, likes. Here are a few key takeaways from them.
How Might We?
After identifying design challenges through subject matter expert interviews and user research, we transformed these statements into aspirational questions that create a welcoming space for “out of the box” thinking.
Golden Path
For the MVP, we have taken a path that addresses the How might we mentioned above faced by Care Builders, Providers, and Patients.
Inspirations
Referred to different applications for coming up with inspirations for the value proposition of the application.
Sketching
We used the Crazy 6 approach to sketch the screens in the Golden Path. Since they offer a high-value proposition for the product.
Design System
We used the “People, parts & systems and Atomic design Methodology” approach to come up with a design system within a day based on the components present in the sketches
Visual Design
After creating visual designs, we stitched the flow together for the demo with potential customers to help us understand whether the MVP addresses the Care Builders problem.
Prototype
After creating visual designs, we stitched the flow together for the demo with potential customers to help us understand whether the MVP addresses the Care Builders problem.
Outcomes
Clients were expecting a similar kind of solution since they didn’t know the development. Empassion health care has signed up for the application and 20 Potential EHR customers have started testing the product. They would sign the deal if the required modules were present in the application.
